Gatti Town with Josie

Ever since baby sister got here, Josie doesn't get much one on one attention like she used to. She is to the age where she really loves getting out, even if it's somewhere like Walmart or Corner Market. She has done so good with Colbie for a 2 year old, but she does get jealous now that Colbie is developing a personality and likes to play with Josie's toys. We treated Josie to one on one with both mommy and daddy. We had never been to Gatti Town, so we tried it out. I will say Josie was probably too young to enjoy a lot of the games... but she really enjoyed her time and grinned ear to ear. Somehow we only walked out with 30 tickets... which equalled 2 plastic rings =)
Her and daddy both were all smiles on the choo choo

Not quite big enough to make it behind the cage. We were out of practice and didn't do much better.

Driving the car. She liked this a lot at first but lost interest after a few minutes. Joey didn't.

We accidentally selected the hardest level of the dance game! I am sure we looked cool!

Bowling was one of her favorites!

Wait, I take that back. Merry go rounds have ALWAYS been her favorite!

Daddy trying to win her a huge stuffed animal in the huge box!

This was one of my favorite games as a kid!

Joey was not giving up on the stuffed animals...

Nope, missed again.

A few facts about Josie at 2.5 years old...

- Some of her favorite things to do are go for walks and climb on "the Mound", which is a large pile of dirt on a vacant lot down the road, ride her scooter, anything involving the outdoors at paw paws house (swimming in the creek, feeding the fish, looking at the chickens), watching Little Mermaid, rocking her babies and putting them in the crib, reading us books in a loud voice, helping cook, and she is always up for a shopping trip (all of the clothes are "so cute")
- She weighs about 29 lbs
- She is potty trained but wears a pull-up when sleeping
- She will start pre-school in the fall... 3 days a week from 9-12
- She is not a big eater, but a few of her favorites are yogurt, applesauce, grapes, strawberry milk, cheeseburgers, nabs, and PB&J
- She has a new fad of "crying on her bed", as she calls it, when she lays there and whines until someone either lays with her or puts her in our bed. It kills me that she "cries on the bed" instead of just getting up and coming to our room. This usually happens between 4 and 5 am. She usually wakes for the day around 6:30 or 7.
- She takes one hour nap after lunch and goes to bed around 8 or 8:30
- She loves to stand on the window seal at my parent's house and put on a production of her favorite songs. It always ends with a grand finale with a her hands in the air and a high voice, and then she falls on to the ground.

And last but not least, some funny things she has said lately:

- "I like flies. They are sweet boys."

- Joey, "Good morning, Josie. Did you sleep good?"
  Josie "yes".
Joey "did you have any dreams?"
  Josie "yes".
  Joey "what were they"?
Josie "those frogs were jumping in the clouds"!

- Josie "Does Ursella have a big booty"?
  Me "Yes, she does".
Josie "Do you have a big booty, mommy"?
Me "No! I have a small booty"!
Josie "No. You got a big booty like Ursella"
  Me "Thank you, Josie"

- "I can't like that". We hear this a lot. Josie "Can't like that dress", "can't like that juice", and "can't want to go night night"

- Joey "What did you do at school today"?
Josie "John took my toy. Paw Paw is going to get him".

- Anything in the past was "last day". This includes yesterday, last week, last year, ect...

- "Wet me do it". We hear this 1,000 times daily.

- Josie squeezing my face... "Your my best friend".
