Colbie's 15 months stats

Yep, this is last month's stuff and picture. Better late than never!

Weight: 26.4 lb  (94th percentile)
Height: 32 1/8 inches (90th percentile)
Head: 19 inches   (97th percentile)

I have big babies.

Facts about Colbie at 15-16 months:

- size 4 diapers
- picky eater! She still likes meat baby foods. She eats oatmeal, meat baby food, PBJ, and any kind of meat. That's about it... other than junk/sweets (try to limit)!
- no more bottle! She decided to wean herself from the bottle. She was still getting one at bedtime, but decided one night that she wasn't going to do that anymore! Sad to see the baby stuff go, but so happy to put that bottle rack up that has been on my counter top for more than 3 years!
- she will NOT take milk from a sippy cup! Our pediatrician suggested a taste of chocolate or strawberry in it... but No! She just spits it out the sides of her mouth and lets it run down. She is such a messy baby!
- she takes one nap a day after lunch, usually about 2.5 hours long (except today, obviously because I hear her talking in her crib after being asleep for 30 minutes... ugh... so much for "me time")
- she goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and wakes up at about 7
- she has a very big hiney and thighs
- she has a whole lot of personality. If a stranger walks by, she will speak, and will not give up until they acknowledge her (very different from big sister)
- she loves chickens (chick chick)
- she likes putting on her purse and bracelets and yelling "bye bye"!
- she can throw a mean arched-back temper tantrum like a champ. I have to just lay her down and get on with it, because there is no consoling her when she likes this
- she loves shoes!
- her favorite food is grapes, but they hurt her belly so she does not get them often ;(
- she loves to say "thank you" with a big grin anytime you hand her something
- she is an active baby ands is not as "smoochy" as her big sister
- she WILL NOT leave a barrette/bow in her hair. The only way I can get it out of her eyes is the Pebbles pony tail. She has the sweetest little curls in the back, they get really spunky when she is hot.
- her teachers say she loves school and is always happy there.
- still takes a paci at nap/bedtime
- she loves to pretend to blow her nose on towels/blankets/napkins
- she loves to bust a move! Her current favorite move is the twirls!

Colbie- We could not ask for a more precious little girl. Your precious smile and cute demeanor keep us laughing at you all of the time. You light up this house and make our family complete. Love you Squirt!! Now I guess I will get you out of the crib and face a whole day with a 30 minute nap, oh boy.
