End of Year Parties and Program

We had the girls end of the year parties last week. Josie graduated from Pre-K ;)

I was out of town with work that day, but Joey and Deedy were able to attend the parties and take some pictures.

"God our Fadder" before they eat

Josie has been known to get shy when daddy attends her classroom parties!

One of her best buds, Tripp. Ms Shannon said that on the first day to school this year, Tripp held Josie's hand on the way to Lunch Bunch so she wouldn't be scared.

Colbie's class is party animals, I tell you!! This is Colbie and her buddy, Vera, in the front seats. They take these stroller rides very seriously.

Love her little physique

Deedy said she was wanting her candy rather than take a picture with her teachers.

That night was the PreK 3 nd 4 program. I wouldn't have missed this for anything. Josie did so, so good which surprised me so much, one again, for a shy little girl!

She is warming up here...

She spotted us in the front, and kept looking to make sure we were still there. We were smiling and waving real big, and a smile would try to come over her face but she would fight it and stick her tongue out like she was concentrating. Funny girl.

The end!!

Her teacher this year, Ms. Shannon, was absolutely awesome. Josie learned so, so much. She can write her name, spell both her first and last name, can recite some verses, knows many Bible stories, can draw her shapes, and much more. Ms. Shannon  took her time with Josie and understood how to handle a shy little girl (her little boy was the same way). We were thrilled to learn that we actually moved about 4 doors down from her! So I see many visits with Ms. Shannon, who when I asked Josie who she wanted to invite to her birthday party, she named.

What a great year, but Father Time, PLEASE SLOW DOWN!
