Jubilee Landing at Orange Beach

This year marked one of my favorite beach trips with my family to date. When I was growing up, my family stayed on the river side of Orange Beach at Jubilee Landing. With there being 3 boys and me, it offered more to do for everyone. You can fish off the pier, catch crabs with nets, catch hermit crabs on the "little beach", catch minnows, or walk across the street to the beach.
This place is almost the Florida/Alabama line, so it used to be a really remote place compared to Gulf Shores. My mom and dad decided we would try our annual trip back there again. for the first time in probably 20 years.

We absolutely loved it! It is small and older, so you don't have to worry about a crowded pool or beach, or fighting over a charcoal grill. Most of the people who were there were owners who do not rent, so it made a perfect vacay spot for our group of about 16! We rented 3 separate condos. These are some pictures from one night while we were boiling some shrimp, corn, and potatoes!

Silly girls!

Across the river is Ono Island...

Kaylon and Austin fishing!

Clay and his buddies... the did a whole lot of fishing. They will be seniors next year!

Charlie!

Joey and Greg hard at work

All I have is a few cell phone pics from the beach!

I love this youngin!!

They screamed "hey Paw Paw"to everyone who went by on a boat.

This big girl turned 2 while we were down there. We had a party there but that deserves a post in itself =)

Poor Josie Kate was so, so excited about Colbie's party she asked about it the whole weekend. When that time rolled around, she got a terrible belly ache that required me to go to Walgreens at the beginning of party time. She was hurting so much she had to stay in the room =( Paw Paw stayed with her so I could spend time with the birthday girl. When we got back up, she was feeling better. She asked for birthday cake. She sang to Colbie, wore her hat, and was so sweet with her little puffy face. It broke my heart!
