Summer Regional at The Grand

 

We always enjoy our long weekend in Point Clear, AL. Everyone needs to visit this place at least once! We enjoyed our walks to breakfast in the mornings.

 

 

My girls love the Ladner kids! We went to the pool everyday, made kites one afternoon, and explored the grounds. 

 

They fed us well every night. We even had dinner at the battleship one night! The girls liked looking at the big boat, but Colbie was disappointed because she thought we were going to go for a ride on it =) Joey was a nervous wreck that one of them were going to fall off. But, we survived.

Joey had meeting every morning and got to play with us in the afternoons. My parents were supposed to come help with the girls during the awards dinner and spouse meetings, but my mom had a fall and was too sore to make it (luckily nothing was broke)! The girls did so, so good with the onsite babysitters which was a pleasant surprise. They were bribed but it worked. The last night, Aaron parent's were so sweet to watch them while we had a nice steak and shrimp dinner with the awards. Joey racked up and I could not have been more proud. We are blessed to call this guy ours. Other than me locking my keys in the car on the way home, and Joey having to ask my dad to get a spare and meet him in New Augusta, we made it home in one piece! He wasn't aggravated at all!
