Beach picnics are our favorite!
This little girl on the left is Scarlett. She is Liza's age and they look so much alike, it's crazy! Her grandmother owns a condo there and they are there every year at the same time as us. They were so cute talking to each other and running around.
On Thursday morning, Joey and I took Josie and Colbie to Waterville. We had the best time riding slides with these girls and acting like kids ourselves. Liza hogs me 99% percent of the time, and I have to schedule time away from her to hang out with these sweeties. They never complain about it but it makes me feel guilty. I am thankful for my village that allows me to steal them away every now and then!
Brad, Janice, and Ryleigh finally arrived on Thursday night and we were feeling complete! Friday was boat day! Off to the island we went.
Sisters!
Our last day, Saturday was a beach day. We sat on the beach, played corn hole, and visited all day.
That night, we celebrated Paw Paw's birthday.
Joey, Paw Paw, Greg, Denise, Kaylon, Clay, Chris, and some other guys were in a fantasy football league that Joey won. Joey was new to the league this year and his name was "The New Sheriff in Town". When everyone arrived to the beach earlier in the week, they all had these shirts laid out nicely on their bed. It was the rankings on the front, and a huge picture of Joey's face on the back and "THE CHAMP". So typical. So Joey. They loved it but Joey made sure they all wore it for a pic the last night. He said he needed a picture for his league next year. He wanted everyone to line up according to their rank (Paw Paw was last) and he had to literally drag Paw Paw to the losers side. Look at this pic!! LOL
We wrapped up supper just in time for the beautiful sunset!
And on the way home... look who still has on her glasses. She hasn't wanted much to do with them since we got home, I guess it was an OBA thing. I love 3 year olds.
It was another awesome trip!
